A warm welcome to the Hotel Venezia in Sappada. The history of the hotel dates back to the 1950s when the Solero family built its house with the annexed butcher’s shop. Around the 1960s the family decided to broaden its horizons and transformed its home into an inn with bedrooms. Then in 1964 the first Hotel Venezia was built when the family also converted the butcher’s shop into a hotel. After this, continuous extensions and improvements have made Hotel Venezia a very popular modern hotel in the Piave valley.

The founders of the hotel were replaced by Sandra and Ugo who after over 50 years dedicated to their guests decided to hand the management over to us, Alessia and Fabrizio. We are proud to continue the tradition of hospitality that has distinguished both of our families for over a century. Our hotel is surrounded by a magnificent natural landscape in the heart of the Sappada Dolomites. In passing down the ancient hotelier tradition, our welcoming facility offers exquisite local hospitality in looking after its guests.
